A DUI checkpoint will be held by the Unified Police Department in Millcreek July 6-7.
The checkpoint will take place at 4100 S. State St., beginning at 9:30 p.m. on July 6 until 2:30 a.m. the following morning.
Officials say the checkpoint will not only serve as a place to check for impaired drivers, but to also promote public awareness and education through the officers' presence. They advise citizens to drink responsibly and not to drive while impaired.
