Capital Broadcasting buys Salt Lake City FM station

Capital Broadcasting/KLO Broadcasting, a Salt Lake City-based broadcaster, has bought KJQN-FM from SLC Divestiture Trust.

Terms of the sale weren't announced.

KJQN, also known as The Jack 103.1 FM, will simulcast KLO 1430 AM, a conservative talk radio station in Salt Lake City, beginning July 16.

National talk show hosts broadcast by KLO are Laura Ingraham, Clark Howard, Michael Medved, Dennis Miller, Michael Savage and Rusty Humphries.

Local hosts are Walter Platz and Simone Seikaly.

Capital Broadcasting also owns KWUT-FM in Manti.
