If you're looking for a fun outdoor activity this summer, you may want to try letterboxing - it's like geocaching, only you don't need a GPS unit. Letter boxes are hidden throughout Utah (and the rest of the country, too) that can be found using clues found HERE. The number of boxes that have been hidden in Utah have grown in recent years, so chances are there is one hidden near you.

Once you're on the web site, go to "Letterboxes," and then "Search Clues." Select "Utah" in the search field and click on "Search Boxes" to find all of the boxes hidden throughout the state along with instructions to find them. Some are more difficult to find than others. You may be surprised to find there are boxes near you or some of your favorite outdoor recreation spots.
