'Magic underwear' tweets raise ire. Shurtleff: Courts likely to strike parts of Utah law down. Herbert aims to limit target shooting.
Happy Tuesday. Cher caused an audible groan from many Mormons this weekend after she poked fun of Mitt Romney's faith by calling him out for "magic underwear." But it appears she isn't backing down from the comment that many say is anti-Mormon. Now, a New York Times columnist is in hot water for a similar tweet. [ABC4]
Topping the news: Attorney General Mark Shurtleff says it's unlikely parts of Utah's own immigration law will stand after the Supreme Court's ruling tossing three of four parts of Arizona's law. [Trib]

Gary Herbert says legislation isn't needed to ban target shooting in the state as wildfires continue to rage; he's asking the state forester to work with counties on setting up a ban right now.
