There's a shocking twist to the second-season premiere of The L.A. Complex (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30) - the fact that there is a second-season premiere on The CW.

This soapy Canadian import about a bunch of beautiful young people trying to make it in Hollywood isn't any worse than most of what's on The CW. It's arguably better than a lot of what airs on the network.

But the first season - all six episodes - bombed horribly. The premiere was the lowest-rated drama premiere in American broadcast TV history; and a subsequent episode attracted so few viewers it registered as a zero share in the ratings.

There weren't enough people tuned in to make it even a blip on the radar.

As the second season begins, Kaldrick tries to make things right with Tariq; Connor turns to Raquel for comfort and Nick and Abby take their relationship to the next level.
