In "Tribute to Jackson" (Forum, July 17), Paul Beyer equates Michael Jackson with Jerry Sandusky.

How prejudiced and sickening to accuse Michael Jackson of being equally guilty as Jerry Sandusky of preying on children. Sandusky was charged and a jury found him guilty of child sexual abuse and other crimes against children. He is a predator, a threat to boys who unluckily come in contact with him.

Michael Jackson is possibly the greatest original entertainer who ever lived. Despite the accusations by some individuals against Jackson, preying on his fame and fortune, a jury found Jackson not guilty of wrong-doing.

Beyer is hopelessly lost in his own unclean thoughts and biases. He needs to think carefully about his comparisons, which hold no merit.
