Here's what's being talked about in the lighter corners of pop culture today:

• News of comic actor Fred Willard's arrest on lewd conduct charges in an L.A.-area porn theater generates tons of jokes on the Internet. [The Daily Beast]

• Viacom and DirecTV have reached a distribution deal, meaning DirecTV subscribers will soon be getting their MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and other channels. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Tom Davis, who was Al Franken's comedy and writing partner during their "Saturday Night Live" days, has died at age 59 after a battle with cancer. Davis helped create such sketches as the Coneheads and "Theodoric of York." [MSNBC]
