Iron County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people Monday morning in connection with cultivating between 3,000 and 4,000 marijuana plants near Cedar City.

Public tips led deputies to the site 16 miles west of Cedar City where the plants were found, said Iron County Sheriff Mark Gower.

The identities of the suspects were not immediately released.
