Farmers markets start today in SLC and W. Jordan

Looking for some fresh beans, beef or bread for your mid-week dinner? You're in luck. The Downtown Harvest Market and the West Jordan Farmers Market, both open today, Tuesday Aug. 7.

The Downtown market runs from 4 p.m. to dusk at Pioneer Park, 300 South and 300 West, while the West Jordan Market, runs from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Jordan School District parking lot, 7975 S. Redwood Rd. (Across the street from City Hall)

Both markets will be open every Tuesday through October. Customers will find these mid-week events are not as crowded as their Saturday and Sunday counterparts, but they still offer a good selection of fresh, fruits, vegetables and artisan food products.
