Cornerback LaDale Jackson, a speedster out of Nevada, has been moved to running back and took snaps there at Monday morning's practice.

It's not a temporary thing: Jackson is now a running back.

"We only have three guys," Gary Andersen said. "LaDale's now the third guy."

Joey DeMartino is out a month with a broken arm. Kelvin Lee has a concussion and Robert Marshall will miss the next few weeks with a sprained shoulder.

Abou Toure came back from his injury in practice. But you get the picture: Utah State needs help at running back.

From a talent standpoint, Andersen loves Kerwynn Williams and Joe Hill. Lee, a true freshman from Daytona Beach Florida, is someone Andersen loves. But, injury woes have sapped the depth.

Lee should be back on Wednesday, Andersen said. He will get every chance to earn carries once he gets back into the fold.
