On August 25, Utah country, rock and blues singer Korene Greenwood will jam with Dan Weldon and the Kap Brothers in the final Wolf Creek Foundation's Music in the Mountains concert of the season. Greenwood is an Ogden favorite and a Utah native. She began her music career in her home town of Provo after being inspired by the 1980 film "Coal Miner's Daughter." Sponsored by Bank of Utah, the event will be held at the base of Wolf Mountain. The cost is $25 per carload, and proceeds will benefit Wolf Creek Foundation, an organization that hosts retreats for deploying airmen and their families.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m.
All concerts are held at 3567 East Nordic Valley Way in Liberty, at the base of the Wolf Mountain ski resort.
