Uh, oh. That doesn't sound good. And this part of the satellite provider's statement sounds even worse:
"The vast majority of Pac-12 football games featuring the most popular teams with national-title implications remain available to all DirecTV customers through the ESPN family of networks and ABC Sports, Fox Sports and FSN, FX, CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network, NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network and several other regional services."
No, that doesn't sound good. And, yes, that sounds like a veiled insult to Utah and a bunch of other Pac-12 schools.
The bottom line is - if you're a DirecTV subscriber and you want the Pac-12 Networks, you've got to call and complain. Which may or may not work.
Or, if you live in Utah, you'll have to switch to Comcast or another cable provider that's carrying P12N.
As for Dish Network - there's no news on that front, either. And in this case, no news is bad news.
