Red Hot Chili Peppers to ring in 2013 in Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will ring in 2013 with the Red Hot Chili Peppers at an intimate New Year's Eve performance, marking their first performance in Las Vegas in more than seven years. The New Year's Eve celebration will begin at 10 p.m. inside The Chelsea, The Cosmopolitan's entertainment venue that has hosted prior NYE performers including Jay-Z, Coldplay and Stevie Wonder.

At 11 p.m., Red Hot Chili Peppers will take the stage pausing only to ring in the New Year with a special midnight celebration.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. MT and will be available online at www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com or through Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000.

General admission tickets are $150 (plus applicable taxes and service charges).
