A unique collaboration between the Salt Lake Symphony and world-renowned painter (and Park City resident) Josee Nadeau will take place at the Libby Gardner Concert Hall at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 13.
The performance will feature live music mixed with live painting in support of Zahra Charity, a local and international charity.
Admission is $15 for students, $25 for general admission, $45 for preferred seating. VIP seating is also available for $100, and includes reserved parking, and catered receptions before and after the concert. Tickets are available at KingTix at 801-581-7100.Robert Baldwin will conduct the Salt Lake Symphony performing works of Respighi, Rimsky-Korsakov, Purcell and Bach/Stokowski, while Nadeau will share the stage and will paint live in response to the music.
At least two large paintings (5'by 4') will be auctioned off live, at the end of the concert. All proceeds will go to creating access to world-class neuro-rehabilitative care in Utah and Morocco, North Africa.
Nadeau was a protégée of Gerald Van der Camp, the esteemed French art expert and curator-in-chief of both Louis XIV's palace at Versailles and Claude Monet's personal gardens in Giverney.
