Democrats move indoors. Romney and Obama train for debates. 62 days to the election.

Happy Thursday. Democrats are painting Mitt Romney as an out-of-touch elitist during their convention, challenging voters to choose between the wealthy Romney and the current president, Barack Obama, come November. Sen. Chuck Schumer offered this attack: "You cannot base your whole approach on a life experience as rarefied" as Romney's. [LATimes]

Topping the news: Ex-President Bill Clinton offers a full-throated defense of President Barack Obama's time as president and offers a new signature line: "In Tampa the Republican argument against the President's re-election was pretty simple: We left him a total mess, he hasn't finished cleaning it up yet, so fire him and put us back in." -> Paul Ryan told a Provo crowd last night that a Romney-Ryan ticket would focus on the country's founding principles. [Trib] [DNews]

Democratic National Convention: Former Bain employees painted Romney as someone who is good at cutting jobs as opposed to saving them. [CBSNews]
