Thursday on Utah TV: President Obama tries to follow President Clinton

Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama will deliver their acceptance speeches tonight at the Democratic National Convention (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2; ABC/Ch. 4, NBC/Ch. 5, PBS/Ch. 7, CNBC, CNN, Current, FBN, FNC, MSNBC ). And I don't envy them.

Not because they're trying to make a case for another term, but because they have to follow the speech former President Bill Clinton delivered on Wednesday night.

MLS (5:30 p.m., College football (6 p.m., ESPN): Pitt at Cincinnati

Wipeout (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Obstacles include Surf's Up, Wipeout Subway Car and the Caregrounds.

High school football (7 p.m., Ch. 14): Highland at Lone Peak

Women's college soccer (7 p.m., Fox Soccer Channel): Texas at BYU

Project Runway (7, 8:30 and 11 p.m., Lifetime): It's going to be a bloodbath this week - they're working in teams of three. And that never goes well.

Sullivan & Son (8 and 10 p.m., TBS): Steve's grifter aunt comes to town.

Big Brother (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): It's time, once again, for the head-of-household competition.

Rookie Blue (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Å violent pedophile kidnaps a girl. (Season finale)

America's Got Talent (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The top six acts are revealed.
