Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• America remembers what happened 11 years ago today. Many newspapers (including The Salt Lake Tribune) marked the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on their front pages — but The New York Times and New York Daily News, oddly, did not. [Poynter.org]

• Wrestling commentator Jerry Lawler suffered a heart attack during WWE's "Monday Night Raw" broadcast in Montreal last night. And, no, he wasn't faking. [Entertainment Weekly]

• How many more twists and turns in "American Idol" drama must we endure before the show starts in January? The latest is that Randy Jackson is back on the judges' panel. [The Hollywood Reporter]
