Will it be three times lucky for Ogden, which outslugged Grand Junction to reach the Pioneer League Championship Series for the third consecutive season?

The Raptors, who won both halves of the Southern Division, open the best-of-three series against in Missoula on Tuesday at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

Games 2 and, if necessary, Game 3, will be played Thursday and Friday at Ogden's Lindquist Field with a 7:05 p.m. start. Tickets range between $1 for general admission to $4-$8 for individual seats.

Ogden was beaten in the Pioneer League finals the last two seasons.

The Missoula Osprey advanced to the finals on the heels of pitcher Yoimer Camacho's two-hit effort in five innings against Great Falls to take series two games to one.

Ospery pitchers combined for a 2.73 earned-run average against Great Falls.

Meanwhile, the Raptors needed a outstanding individual effort by Eric Smith to outlast Grand Junction. Smith, who scored eight runs in the series, homered, tripled and scored three times in the 11-9 victory.

The Southern Division Playoff featured two 11-inning games, including a 4-3 win in the opener by Ogden. Paul Hoenecke's RBI single proved the game winner.
