Cottonwood Heights police are calling a weekend break-in at a T.J.Maxx store a "professional" job.
Sgt. Mark Askerlund said Monday that burglars went to a lot of trouble to enter the store at 6995 S. 1300 East late Saturday night.
"The store's clock stopped at 11:22 p.m., along with the alarm and video security systems," Askerlund said. "They went in through an outside closet on a building were the fire riser was housed, then climbed up to the ceiling, dropped into the room where the safe was and cut through its side."
