In the 90-minute premiere of Survivor: Philippines (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) we're introduced to the contestants.

They include former "Facts of Life" star Lisa Whelchel; former MLB MVP Jeff Kent; and three former contestants who had to leave their seasons because of illness or injury - Michael Skupin, Russell Swann and Jonathan Penner.

And don't forget the Utah beauty queen, Angie Layton!

Should be fun.

Elsewhere on TV ...

The X Factor (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Auditions continue.

Women's college volleyball (8 p.m., Pac-12 Network): Utah at Colorado

Big Brother (8:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): A winner is declared in the season finale.

Animal Practice (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): NBC repeats the pilot of this not-so-great sitcom in its regular time slot.

Guys With Kids (8:30 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): This lousy sitcom moves into its regular time slot.

Royal Pains (10 p.m., USA): Hank makes a sudden realization. (Season finale)
