Police have little to go on as they investigate vandalism at the downtown Salt Lake City Obama for President offices.

Salt Lake City police Det. Carlie Wiechman said campaign workers called 911 about 9 a.m. Thursday when they discovered the front window of their offices at 175 W. 200 South had been broken out.

"Someone threw a rock through it and that's all we have at this point," Wiechman said.

There was no evidence at the scene — no graffiti, notes or other indications — pointing to a motive other than vandalism, she said.

"We have no witnesses and while there is a surveillance camera, it is only pointed at the door and so far [video] does not show anything," Wiechman said.

Review of the video continued Friday.

Anyone with information relating to this case is asked to call police at 801-799-3000.
