Here's what's being talked about today in pop culture:

• Crooner and Christmas-special king Andy Williams has died at the age of 84. The Cricket will probably have "Moon River" stuck in his head all day. [Los Angeles Times]

• Director Benh Zeitlin is already working on his follow-up to "Beasts of the Southern Wild." Like that movie, this one will be made in Louisiana with local crews. [AP, via The Huffington Post]

• Finally, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have found something to agree on: That the real NFL referees need to come back to work. (But wouldn't that mean Romney is endorsing a union?) [USA Today, ABCNews.com]
