Provo harpist Clarissa McLaren will appear on an upcoming episode of From the Top, the hit NPR radio program featuring America's best young classical musicians.

This episode celebrates the stories and performances of children of American military families. Taped before a live audience at the Military Child Education Coalition Conference in Grapevine, Texas on June

27, the show will air nationally the week of October 1 and on Utah Public Radio October 5 at 2 p.m. and October 7 at 9 p.m.

McLaren, 17, currently lives in Belgium at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe base where her father serves in the Air Force Reserves. She has participated in Brigham Young University's Summerfest and enjoys spending her summers in Utah.
