Every year, Utah's governor celebrates the state's oldest residents — its centenarians. On Friday, Gov. Gary Hebert and first lady Jeanette Herbert welcomed the state's centenarians and family members to a luncheon at Noah's Reception Center in South Jordan.

Forty of the state's known centenarians were expected to attend.
