Tooele — Three local racing championships for the 2012 season will be determined this weekend at Miller Motorsports Park.

The Utah Region of the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) presented by Sunoco Race Fuels is scheduled Saturday and Sunday on the 2.18-mile west course. This will be the last of a seven-round championship series. Each round includes two races.

Scheduled as a companion event is the Lap Battle Time Attack Series, a locally-based series. Lap Battle offers rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive classes for both street and race cars. On the 2.2-mile east course, the Utah SportBike Association's Masters of the Mountain series will conclude its six-round championship series. Nineteen different classes of bikes will be competing. Also, the Utah Region of the Lucas Oil Off Road Regional Racing Series is scheduled Saturday on Miller Motorsports Park's off road short course. This will be the last round of a five-round season. The action starts at approximately 8 a.m. and will last until 5 p.m. each day. The Ace Café will be open both days and the Miller Motorsports Park Clubhouse will be open for lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Admission for the weekend is $6 per day for adults, with children 12-and under admitted free of charge. Military personnel are eligible for a 25 percent discount.
