The Downtown Alliance has set up a webcam to capture all the action on Salt Lake City's Main Street.

Now all they need is some action on Main Street.

The cameras are pointed down toward the sidewalk in front of the Downtown Alliance's office between 200 South and 300 South, across from the Wells Fargo Building. One's pointed toward the north, the other toward the south.

Mostly what you'll see is the occasional pedestrian walking along.

It's actually kind of soothing, like a living lava lamp. Or, for fun, you can use the slight time lag between the two cameras to see someone seeming to be in two places at once.
