Salt Lake City police are asking the public to help them identify and locate a suspect in a Tuesday morning bank robbery.

The man entered the Zions Bank at 455 E. South Temple about 9:05 a.m. and demanded money from an employee. He then fled on foot with the money and was last seen leaving north from the bank.

Police described the man as a caucasian, between 25 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was also wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, and a ball cap.

Police encourage anyone who knows of his whereabouts to call 801-799-3000.
