The Chihuly Venetians aren't window coverings, but works by the renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly inspired by his fascination with Venice.
The exhibit "Chihuly Venetians" opens Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Kimball Art Center, 638 Main St., Park City, and runs through Jan. 6. The exhibit is free to the public.
The 60 pieces in the exhibit are part of the collection of Portland, Ore., art patron George R. Stroemple. They include bottle stoppers, Putti Venetians, Piccolo Venetians and drawings.
The prime work in the exhibit is the Laguna Murano Chandelier, made by Chihuly on the island of Murano at the end of his "Chihuly Over Venice" era, in 1996.
