Sample and sip at chocolate fest

Sample award-winning chocolate from Amedei, Italy's premiere maker, and enjoy other cocoa-centric creations from local chefs during the Fine Chocolate Festival, on Thursday, Oct. 25 at Caputo's Market, 310 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City.

Cost is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Optional drink pairings are an additional $5.

Participating chefs include: Amber Billingsley (Vinto), Letty Flatt (Deer Valley Resort), Matt Harris (Heirloom Restaurant Group), Ruth Kendrick (Chocolot), Lya Luna (Caputo's market) and Viet Pham (Forage.)

This tasting event also includes a unique beverage component. Epic Brewing Company, Libation wine brokerage, and Slide Ridge Honey will pair beverages with the world's best chocolate.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to charities that promote sustainability in the world's cacao growing regions.
