Jamie Glaser, well-known in the music world of jazz and commercial music and a Lehi resident, is opening a new virtual music school called Jamie Glaser's Cyber School of Music.

The virtual format will allow him to staff his school with Grammy-award winning instructors from all over the world. Registration and more information is available on the school's website: http://gotocyberschool.com/Classes start this month with intermediate or beginning classes for ages 13 to 99.

He encourages those who wish to play the guitar to start with a qualified instructor early. Glaser said in a press release: "It is very important to start them (students) correctly right from the beginning. They can go online and pick up some hints from YouTube, but then what?"

He will also offer a class for music production which teaches Music Composition, Music Arrangement, Orchestration and the Business of Music.

Future plans include offering classes in Spanish and adding classes for other instruments, as well.

Glaser has been on more than 150 albums, and has been the guitarist with Bryan Adams, Jean Luc Ponty, Chick Corea, Lenny White, Gloria Trevi and dozens more. He recently completed four years at a charter school in Spanish Fork, heading the guitar department and music production classes. He recently finished a South American reunion tour with Jean Luc-Ponty.
