Salt Lake County attorneys have charged two people for the murder of Salt Lake City teen Kenyatta Winston.

Frank Reyos, 30, was charged Tuesday with aggravated murder and possession of a dangerous weapon in 3rd District Court. David Angel Montes, 21, was also charged with murder. Investigators suspect Reyos shot Kenyatta and that Montes drove the getaway car, said Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill.

Gill's office also charged Natasha Alvarado, 33, with obstructing justice, a second-degree felony, for trying to clean the motel room Kenyetta had been staying at in order to destroy evidence.

Alvarado admitted to the police that after she found out that Kenyatta had been killed, she and others went to his Zion's Motel room. She and the others cleaned the room to destroy any evidence that linked Kenyatta to the room and to them, according to the charges.

Shelby Glenda Reed, 19, was charged in September for cleaning the room as well.

Winston was fatally shot Aug. 29, and his body was found in a vacant Sugar House lot, near 1120 E. Crandall Ave. (about 2900 South).
