Mockingbird Lane (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) is producer Bryan Fuller's ("Pushing Daisies") much-anticipated update of "The Munsters." But keep your enthusiasm in check.

Fuller produced this hour as a pilot for a possible series. NBC execs weren't happy with it, and decided not to order it as a series.

However, the "Mockingbird Lane" pilot cost a reported $10 million, so NBC is airing it as a Halloween special to try to make back some of those costs.
