• Journalist and "Democracy Now!" host Amy Goodman talks about her new book, "The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprising, Occupations, Resistance and Hope," at the Jeanne' Wagner Theatre, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. A benefit for community radio station KRCL 90.9 FM. The event starts at 7. Tickets are $35, at ArtTix.

• Indie folk band Sea Wolf performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Hey Marseilles. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $14, at 24Tix.
