This year's KUTV Holiday Pops Concert featuring the Choral Arts Society of Utah and West Valley Symphony will feature acclaimed local pianist Paul Cardall, and that's not all.

A special "Tribute to the Armed Forces" will be a new addition to this year's concert.Cardall's 13th studio album, "New Life," was the No. 1 Billboard New Age album in February 2011 and held a position in the top five for more than 30 weeks, surpassing Yanni and Enya.Members of the 120-voice Master Chorale volunteer their time and talents to provide quality performances, and this is a benefit concert for the KUTV Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.

Bring the kids — Santa will be there.

$15 tickets are available at Smith's Tix.The event will be at Cottonwood High School, 5715 S. 1300 E. in Salt Lake City, on Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m.
