Washington quarterback Keith Price hasn't had quite the year he did in 2011 when he set Washington's single-season record for touchdown passes with 33 and threw for 3,063 yards, but the junior still has the Utes' respect going into Saturday's game.

Price is 177-for-297 for 1,765 yards and nine touchdowns with 10 interceptions.

Price presents a problem with not only his arm but also his mobility, Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said.

The last time the Utes faced a similar quarterback, they didn't fare so well, as UCLA's Brett Hundley consistently evaded the Utes in the Bruins' 21-14 win on Oct. 13.

He was sacked just twice.

"We need to do a better job than we did against UCLA," Whittingham said. "We have to be more disciplined in the pass rush than we were and which we have been the last few weeks. ... We've got to do a good job of keeping space and containment."

The Utes are coming off one of their best efforts, as they logged six sacks against Washington State.

Utah defensive end Joe Kruger said the Utes can have a similar effort Saturday.

"We've made a lot of progress as a defense," he said. "If you can get pressure on a quarterback and rattle them, you can make them make bad decisions."

Play it loud

Seattle's CenturyLink Field is known as one of the loudest arenas in the NFL, and the Utes have been preparing accordingly.

Utah's offense has been practicing inside with music blaring, Whittingham said.

"We simulate it as best as we can so it's something that is not unique this week," he said.

UW vs. Utah

In games against Utah, BYU and Utah State, Washington has a combined record of 13-4. BYU, which is 4-4 against the Huskies, is the only one to have a win.
