This morning, President Barack Obama delivered a speech on the matter of utmost urgency — the impending fiscal cliff facing the U.S government and all Americans.

KUTV-Ch. 2 covered it live. KTVX-Ch. 4 covered it live. KSTU-Ch. 13 covered it live.

KSL-Ch. 5 stuck with "Studio 5," delivering its viewers important news about women's shoes. Really.

It's getting harder and harder to remember when KSL was the station Utahns turned to first when they wanted news.

And it's hard not to wonder if Ch. 5 would have covered this speech had it been delivered by, say, a President-elect Romney instead of a re-elected President Obama.
