Recalls for Eddie Bauer bassinets, 2012 Honda CR-Vs

The following products and vehicles were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Unless otherwise indicated, discontinue use of the products immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. For more information about the products, call the manufacturer or CPSC's toll-free hotline, 800-638-2772. Only some cars or trucks recalled are affected. Contact a dealer for your model to see if it is included in the recall. The dealer will tell you what to do.

PRODUCT • Eddie Bauer Rocking Wood Bassinets

PROBLEM • The bottom locking mechanism can fail to lock properly if a spring is not installed, allowing the bassinet to tip to one side, posing a suffocation hazard to infants. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bassinets and contact Dorel to obtain a free repair kit, which includes a spring and instructions for assembly. Customers may contact Dorel toll-free at 877-416-0165, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, or go to www.djgusa.com and click on Safety Notices for more information.

VEHICLE • Honda CR-V 2012

PROBLEM • The incorrect values for Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, Gross Axle Weight Rating front and rear, tire size and rim size were specified on the safety certification label. A misprinted label could lead to improper vehicle loading. posing a safety hazard. Honda will notify owners, and dealers will apply the corrective label for free. Owners may contact Honda at 800-999-1009.
