Joshua Wright and Savoys to perform Sandy Xmas shows

Join the Sandy Arts Guild for a Christmas concert series featuring some of Utah's finest home-grown musicians.

The concerts begin at 7:30 pm in the Chamber Theater (Sandy City Council Chambers) at Sandy City Hall, 10000 S Centennial Pkwy.

Tickets are $10 for Savoy and $12 for Joshua Wright and can be purchased by calling 801-568-ARTS or online at sandyarts.com/christmas.

Savoy featuring Sam Payne, Friday, Dec. 21- The gentlemen of Savoy have entertained all over the world, from the jazz clubs of Tokyo, London, and France to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. With bassist Ryan Tilby, drummer Bart Olsen, vocalist Sam Payne, and guitarist Joshua Payne, the musicians of Savoy are among the region's most accomplished in big band sound, upbeat jazz and sassy swing. They will perform music from their latest Christmas CD "Merry Little Christmas," available now at savoybooking.com.Joshua Wright, Saturday, Dec. 22 - Pianist Josh Wright's self-titled album "Josh Wright" topped the Billboard Classical Traditional chart just three weeks after its release, in April 2011. Josh will release his next CD, "My Favorite Things," in 2013 with Shadow Mountain Records.
