"Bring Your Gifts" is a new Christmas show that, according to a press release, "celebrates the idea that all of us have been given gifts and unique talents and the best way to use those gifts is to help others."

It is a benefit show, with 100 percent of proceeds being donated to the YWCA Salt Lake City women's shelter. The YWCA's shelter was the first shelter for victims of domestic abuse in Utah, and through their programs, provides many valuable services to help women heal and start healthy lives.

"Bring Your Gifts" tells the Christmas story with performers presenting dance styles from around the world — including classical and modern Raqs Sharki, Hopi, Arabic folk, Irish, Polynesian, and more — to bring the Nativity story to life.

The show also features live performances of voice, strings, piano, and doumbek (a goblet drum).

"Bring Your Gifts" will be presented on Dec. 7 at the Historic Murray City Theater (4961 South State St, Murray) from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

Pre-sale tickets are priced at $15 for adults, 10$ for children 12 and under, and are available from 24tix.com. Tickets at the door will be $20 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under. For more information go to http://www.bringyourgifts.com.
