It's the deficit, folks

Re "Avoiding the cliff: Utah's delegates don't get it" (Our View, Nov. 18):

Tribune editorials typically blame Republicans for not being willing to raise taxes to reduce the deficit. However, I don't see you blaming Democrats for their recent stance in refusing to reduce entitlements to reduce the deficit.

I'm personally tired of watching my savings being reduced due to the dollar's decline in value, and I don't want my kids dealing with the government running this country into the ground.

Please make your editorials more balanced in their approach to the most significant issue in our country today: deficit reduction.
