Just like rabies

In "War on fossil fuels will put America at risk" (Opinion, Nov. 18), Drew Johnson clearly points out the problems associated with reducing the use of fossil fuels, but he ignores the problems brought on by their use.

This is analogous to advising one bitten by a rabid dog to avoid having rabies shots because they are painful, without mentioning that the shots are necessary to avoid an almost certain painful death.
