Plans for tonight: Isaak sings and swings

• The Utah Jazz plays host to the Orlando Magic, at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Game starts at 7. Tickets available at Smith's Tix.

• A screening of the documentary "Chasing Ice," about a photographer traveling to the world's glaciers to document how they recede, is set for the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. An interview with filmmaker Jeff Orlowski follows the film. Show starts at 7. Free.

• Rock crooner Chris Isaak performs his holiday show, at Kingsbury Hall, 1395 E. Presidents Circle, University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets, from $42 to $58, available at the Kingsbury website.

• Stoner-metal band The Sword plays The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Gypsyhawk, American Shark. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $14, at Smith's Tix and 24Tix.
