Off until Dec. 17 — but first a Sundance hint from Dave Grohl

I will be away from the office until Monday, Dec. 17, so unless there is a guest blog post or two by a colleague, there will be no blog posts until Dec. 17.

I do want to leave you with a tantalizing tidbit. I had the pleasure of interviewing the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl this morning, and in the course of the conversation he told me that several of the music icons he interviewed for his upcoming Sundance documentary will be joining him in Park City in January. (if you check out the online trailer by Googling "Sound City," you will see that I don't use the word "icon" lightly.) And while he couldn't spill too many beans, he hinted very strongly that there could be a show/party that sounds like it could be one for the ages.

Hopefully that will be open to the public.
