Two nights after one of their most thrilling wins in recent memory, the Utah Jazz found themselves in an early hole against the Phoenix Suns and could never recover, losing 99-84 at US Airways Center.
The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Jazz (13-11), who had seemed to right the ship after a middling start to the season. However, the Jazz proved they have not kicked their road woes, falling to 4-10 away from EnergySolutions Arena.
On Wednesday, the Jazz battled back from every deficit and made timely shots to beat San Antonio, which entered that game with one of the NBA's best records. Against the middling Suns (9-15), the Jazz demonstrated no such prowess.
