First, Salt Lake City police were looking for two bank robbers. Then, things got seriously complicated when a suspicious package was found at the crime scene.
Police Sgt. Shawn Josephson said the holdup of the Zions Bank branch at 1420 S. 300 West took place about 11:30 a.m. Monday. Two men, both wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, came in and approached a clerk. One produced a handgun as they demanded and received cash.
The two suspects were then seen leaving the scene in a green compact car.
