Draper police have confirmed that a body found over the weekend at a construction site is that of a missing 57-year-old woman.

Lisa Rosa had been reported missing 3:30 p.m. Sunday. About 9:30 p.m., homeowners on Traverse Mountain reported having spotted the body near 15200 South Traverse Road, roughly 1,000 yards west of Suncrest Drive.

"Ms. Rosa [was] found her in the snow at a construction site. Draper officers remained with the deceased ... throughout the evening and into the morning hours until the scene could be processed," said Draper spokeswoman Maridene Hancock.

Though no foul play was suspected, the State Medical Examiner's Office was working Monday to determine a precise cause of death.

However, temperatures have been especially cold in the region. On Sunday, daytime highs in Draper were in the teens and approaching single digits after nightfall.

Rosa lives near the site where her body was found. It was unclear why she had left her home, reportedly in light clothing.
