Salt Lake City police are looking for a gunman who held up a south-central Salt Lake City eatery.

The suspect, described as a white male, 5-foot-8, 20-30 years old, walked into the Sconecutter restaurant at 2040 S. State Street about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

The man, wearing a white parka with black sleeves and a black beanie style cap, pulled a handgun and demanded money from the counter clerk. The clerk complied and the man fled the business on foot.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call 801-799-3000.
