If the Utes can handle the adversity that comes with being away from the Huntsman Center.

If Utah can shoot the ball well, avoid turnovers, and keep Michael Ladd out of the lane.

If the Utes can rebound and find the form that allowed them to almost beat Arizona and UCLA.

These are all pretty big ifs, and there are no guarantees. But if they happen, Larry Krystkowiak can get his first road win in Pac-12 play.

In a season that represents baby steps, this would be a pretty big accomplishment, especially in the face of losing to USC on Saturday in such convincing fashion.

Utah has proven that it can stay in games, which means that the next step is actually winning those games. Washington State is tough at home, but the Cougars are still 0-3 in conference play. Utah, WSU and Oregon State are all teams in search of a Pac-12 victory.
