A look at the prospects:
LB Keylon Hollis, Bakersfield College (Calif.) • This pass-rusher piled up big numbers as a defensive end at Bakersfield. He finished the season with 16.5 sacks and 68 tackles and earned a unanimous selection as National Northern Conference defensive player of the year. Notably, he attended Cypress Creek High alongside Chuckie Keeton, so there are ties to the Aggies. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Hollis would likely be moved to an outside linebacker spot. His highlights are available on Hudl.
DL Ofa Hautau, Snow College • As a defensive tackle for the Badgers, Hautau had five sacks and 41 tackles on the way to All-American honors. Originally hailing from East High, the 6-foot-2, 290-pound tackle is the latest hyped lineman prospect out of Snow. The Aggies were among the first to offer him with Hawaii and Utah, but Oklahoma State and Oregon State are now among the suitors.
DB Myron Turner, Desoto High (Texas) • A six-foot, 175-pound secondary stalwart who helped lead Desoto to the Texas 5A semifinals. Until recently, he was a Washington State commit at safety before Mike Leach dramatically pulled his offer to give to another recruit. Rated a two-star by ESPN, it might interest Aggies fans to know that early in the season, Turner's Desoto team beat Damion Hobbs' Cedar Hill team.
