A rare first edition of Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", pictured, was acquired by the University of Utah's Marriott Library recently along with "Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There." They were donated to the J. Willard Marriott Library's Rare Books Division by an anonymous donors. The value of the two books combined is estimated at $30,000. They were photographed in the library on the university campus in Salt Lake City.

He's one of many Polynesian athletes from Utah who have helped elevate high school sports in the state.
